The rumours have been going on for 2 years almost. Today finally Nikon announced the new flagship D4. It’s a beast of a camera, extreemly beautifully designed, great new features and excellent specs. I love the new stuff that will make working with it so much better, these are my favorite features.

- 16.2 MP image sensor
- 91K-pixel RGB sensor
- 1920 x 1080 @30/24/25 fps, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC
- Ethernet port and WLAN connection!
- Ability to add IPTC (International Press Telecommunications Council) information to images.
- The D4′s HTTP server mode can be used to display a list of images stored on the memory card, and also enables basic camera control, live view, movie recording, etc. using the Web browser on a computer or smartphone! Wow!
- Shutter tested for 400,000 cycles
